Achieve high-quality growth by incorporating citizen input in the designs of larger developments
Hanover County is at a critical crossroads in its development. Will we go the way of too many other counties that chased the dollar signs and ended up on a high-growth, high-tax treadmill? Or will we chart a more livable future? What are we willing to do together as a county to manage growth? What are the trade-offs in various plans for managing future growth? How do we make sure Hanover’s culture survives? These questions hang in the balance right now. We need a variety of ideas to explore, and citizens deserve the right to be represented at the table as equal partners in the real data gathering and decision-making.
